Choose by fit

Small Chinese watches, with the dimensions to compare.

Start with a 34–38 mm case and a recorded lug-to-lug length of 46 mm or less. Then compare thickness, bracelet shape and your own fit preferences. A small diameter is a useful starting point, not a promise of comfort.

A shortlist across brands

One colourway per model family, with brands rotated through the list. Every example has both case diameter and lug-to-lug recorded. These are catalogue measurements, not a Watchio wrist test. Prices are last recorded listings; open the watch for dated offers and source evidence.

How to compare watches for a smaller wrist

Begin with a watch you already find comfortable. Compare its case width, length from lug tip to lug tip, and thickness with the candidates above. That gives you a personal reference without relying on a universal wrist-circumference rule.

Check length as well as diameter

Diameter describes the width of the case; lug-to-lug describes its length. A 36 mm case with longer lugs can have a different footprint from another 36 mm watch. The shortlist uses both measurements and excludes records with either dimension missing. The 46 mm cutoff is a browsing choice, not a fit standard.

Look beyond the case measurements

Inspect side photographs and the first bracelet links. A rigid end link can extend beyond the case lugs; a strap can turn down differently. Compare clasp length, removable links and the seller’s minimum bracelet size before buying. Case lug-to-lug does not include an unmeasured bracelet extension.

Keep thickness and dial layout in the decision

Use the listed thickness as another comparison with your own watch, especially if you want to wear it under a cuff. A broad dial, prominent bezel or different case shape can change your visual preference even at the same diameter. These are reasons to inspect photographs and owner feedback, rather than rank comfort from dimensions alone.

Verify the exact version

Follow each watch page to its specification evidence and retailer offer. Confirm the reference, case size, dial and movement selected at checkout: related sizes or revisions can share a product listing. Check current stock, shipping, taxes and return terms with the seller. The catalogue price is not a live quotation.
